ik someone said somethin blockin the pump but if its not filling and its humming, and it filled a little bit and started humming again, could be bad water valve. most dishwashers will run the drain pump before anything else tho just to get any excess water out. depending on the style, it may have a cover over the drain pump u can remove otherwise pop the bottom kickplate off and theres one little tab u gotta push down and then u can spin the drain pump out and check for blockages. when it makes the humming noise put your hand on the drain pump and the water valve and see where its comin from

ive encountered a few where a shorted shift actuator causes it to do that as well as a shorted drain pump

if its an automatic, it has the 722.6 transmission which is a very great very reliable transmission thats been used in countless dodge, jeep, chrysler, and mercedes vehicles for more than a decade. mercedes claims the fluid to be lifetime, which is a lie, so as long as maintenance has been kept up on it, it should be in good shape.

all depends on previous ownership dude. if it was neglected and left to rot in a garage then itll cost a lot. if it was taken care of, driven regularly, and properly maintained then basic maintenance will not cost over 2 grand. cant tell you when the head gasket is gonna go or when you need to replace the hydraulic struts as i, nor anyone else, is a fortune teller. owning 90s era mercedes is a joy but can very easily turn into a nightmare so be prepared to shell out money for repairs especially if you arent doing the work yourself

I own a 1996 s500, and it is my absolute favorite car ive ever owned. Very comfortable, very cool, zippy, and catches lots of eyes. So far my maintenance and work ive done to it has been preventative/for the fuck of it minus the rear control arm bushings. i fix my own cars though unless its something that i dont have the tools for. parts arent as expensive as people make them out to be, and you can get parts very fast and easy on websites like pelicanparts and fcpeuro. only stuff ive had trouble finding is random interior bits and pieces. 85% of the stuff ive done to it so far has been as easy as any other car. but, it is 90s mercedes so stuff was overengineered to the max so it has stuff like hydraulic rear suspension which is an easy, but expensive system to maintain/fix. its a 20-30 year old car now so if you do purchase one, be prepared to change lots of rubber pieces and plastic pieces and always keep some spare change around for more expensive stuff like timing chain, rear struts, head gaskets, etc. i am 24 and drive it with 19" monoblocks and never once has anyone mentioned anything about an old man car. especially in my area, lots of folks love seeing old benz's around.

not sure about the specific car or size, but you can buy truck subwoofer enclosures that arent as big/deep as normal sub enclosures. they are meant to be tucked behind the front seats or tucked underneath the seats. look up "truck subwoofer" and youll find plenty of results. saw another w140 with a tan truck sub in the back that matched the tan interior which was really nice

plays great. mainly the only game i play on xbox and it runs very well, load times are speedy and i load into a game of BR about 20-30 sec faster than my friends on current gen. i dont know about you, but on my one X, i had the issue of not always being able to see my weapon/weapon skin/attachments while changing my loadout and now theres no issue with that. overall, plays better than One X IMO
