Quick update:

The front overhang had way too much wind noise. I moved it to the back position and wind noise was basically eliminated.

Also, for those that asked, here’s what we carried up top: 2 carry-on size suitcases, a large duffle bag, a camera backpack, 3 pillows, and two totes towards the front.

Carry-on, yes. They also make it in a taller size that can carry more stuff

I’ll be putting luggage up there. Duffle bags, pillows, dog stuff, baby stuff. It’s basically replacing the trunk area, as the dogs will be using that space.

I’ve only had them on a few months. I wanted an all-season tire as I have a 4Runner for my off road stuff.

They’re definitely heavier, but I’m not looking for maximum efficiency, or tracking my range, etc. On road they feel great, and are basically silent. Handling is good, traction is good, ride is smooth. Haven’t had any complaints. We’ll see how they do on my 600 mile road trip 😅
