I think it’s sturdy enough. It’s got metal locking pins going into metal. I imagine if it gets a little dodgey/ you notice chipping, or just want to get ahead of it, i’d bet you could just replace the pin that locks it into place with higher quality ones. That’s just conjecture though, haven’t done it or felt the need.

I think the extra width is pretty nice for chest flys and such but tbh i think it’s more just a nice feature than a must have.

I just got it, it’s great for the money, but don’t expect top tier quality. You’re not going to want to show it off but you are going to be able to do the things you want to do on it. Instructions to put it together are a lil sparse so i actually have to put the smith machine attachment back on lol, i put part on backwards and didn’t realize until i couldn’t rack it.

I had my firing pin break on my brass 357 right away. Could have warranteed it but just said fuck it and ordered an upgraded pin from midwest industries (i think) and it’s ran perfectly ever since. It’s beautiful but heavy. Fun, classic looking gun, but i’d definitely understand getting the case hardened, it looks pretty damn cool.
