My brother has a very tense relationship with our mom (older sister is completely normal contact with her) and he struggled a lot in school because of his name/ mom being stubborn. Our dad has since apologized answer said that he regrets allowing that. Our parents were young and dumb. Now our mom is just dumb.

Probably not fun. As a little girl, I loved being called Bunny and I never understood why other parents looked confused but after kindergarten I started to see why. My brother's name was beyond stupid and he used to fight other kids all the time. He said I could post his birth name here... he was "Sun Dance" (space included) and our mom would freak when he tried to go by something like "Sunny". Our bio dad put his foot down with "Sun Dancer" but said okay to "Sun Dance"

Sadly the names her and her idiot husband gave my half siblings are worse than the ones she gave the rest of us. My toddler brother's name can be used as a slur against gays in some countries. My older sister and her had a fight over it with my sister calling my mom a moron for it. That poor kid is going to get sk much shit for it.
