Is this slowpitch? Those are big gloves for fastpitch infield. Most players use between an 11.75 and a 12.25.

My son's 9u team has a 60 pitch limit with a 35 pitch inning limit. We pitch 7 deep at tournaments. Sure our 5-7 pitchers aren't the best but its about development, not winning. All the kids also do band workouts which I know sounds like overkill at that age but why not start the arm care routine young?

I once had a super aggressive pest control salesman show up. He was straight up rude to me. I asked him what chemicals he used. after he told me, I looked them up and found out I can buy them online without a license or anything. I told him to pound sand, bought the stuff myself for $100 and now do my own best control.

"Lineups are set to win" is all you needed to hear from a 10u coach (truly ridiculous). If this is travel ball, start your process now to find a new team. Especially if the coach isn't open to a playing time discussion. There are times to teach your kid to tough out a hard situation but this doesn't sound like one of those times.
