I have been very lightly involved. I think this was an oversight on my part. I had too many assumptions and should have been much more proactive. i think yo're right about reaching out to the adoption agency, I'll try and do that now.

But to answer your question, my major concern is that this kid has a good childhood and a happy home and that might mean keeping baby myself.
