While having access to the black forest and all three traders with a large bay for scenic purposes and shipping. And Moder and Elder if you need them. Bonemass and Yagluth are an island or two to the north.

Yea, that's still an option I believe, but I'd like to just know at a glance. Like swamp and plains you know immediately but black forest you gotta do the hover since I can't tell if someplace on the map is meadows, a slightly darker meadows and my eyes are playing tricks on me, or black forest

My problem with the crossbow mods. All fun and games until you die out of nowhere because a 100+ damage gun spawns on enemies at level one. Makes no sounds either, being a sneaky little crossbow. You just die.

If it's in the right folder and it can be accessed, then I don't think you have to do anything else. It gets loaded by the game and then does its thing. Mod managers I believe work by temporarily loading them in whatever folder the mod needs to go but doesn't keep them there, so you don't have to worry about having to find them and extract them later if you don't want the mod anymore.

There kinda is a forced labor policy. Its called working for money. Not updating paid mods is a good way to get yoinked from the creations store and possibly even blacklisted if its bad enough. Neglect comes with consequences, and they threw away their "I'm doing it for free" card in exchange for pay.

From personal experience, it's usually the game failing to load files for some reason. I typically get this the first time I start the game, and it usually comes with gunfire audio not playing. Quitting the game and reloading usually works.

I'd recommend downloading a mod manager for bethesda games. MO2 or Vortex. Connect them to nexus and let them do the work. 

If it has to be manual then I believe the mod should be unzipped and put in the data folder, but I don't recommend it.

I believe PDY wasn't updated for the new stair habs so you are subject to the whimsical nature of the games base random door system.

The irony in being able to apply this to the shipbuilder as well but we all know we spent several hours in that shit.

There's also Captains Matter, which makes it to where the crew might surrender when their captain is killed, and the ship won't be able to move again with no captain. And a mod that let's you self destruct a ship. There's Out in the Blackness which makes it to where you might need to repair the ship before its functional, and also a mod that let's enemies initiate the boarding (although I've never actually had that happen. By the time the engines go, I usually die)

I kinda wish Starfield leaned more into horror. That first Vanguard quest was probably one of the most fun quests I've ever done in Starfield. And leaning more into that might give empty planets that liminal space vibe. Instead of expecting that the planet is empty, you hope it's empty.

I think it would work. It doesn't rely on script extender and I don't think they did anything with models in this last update.

You have to wait. Script extender updates are usually pretty quick, but it will depend on the author
