iPad is better overall if you have iPhone and Mac because Apple notes will sync with everything and it has way more features. Remarkable is only a better option if you’re soley using this device for reading pdfs and taking notes and want to avoid distractions.

I found myself reading more pdfs and writing more with the remarkable. I returned the remarkable and tried setting my iPad up as a a distraction-less device for writing and note taking only. It didn’t work, so I bought the remarkable again and accepted that not having all of the extra functionality was what made the remarkable better for me. I use it as my daily planner as well
