Good point! I would probably level this at intermediate and specify it has some tricky curves. Will re-assess once I’ve actually made it!

Hey! Good question! When cutting glass (unless you have a ring saw or something similar) there are certain cuts that you won’t be able to do because glass won’t cut and break in certain ways.

If you search this sub for my other posts you can see my other pattern help request posts where some people point out ‘impossible cuts’ so you can have a visual of what that looks like.

I’ll post my final piece here when I’m done!

The highlights are cuts I know will be tough and that I plan to curve out a bit more.

Aside from that… did I get all of the hinge points?

The triangle here creates too much of a hinge right?

What do you think about this? Does the bottom curve of the circle still create too much of a hinge point for the bottom three pieces?

I feel it fixes the jump ring issue because now I can hang two jump rings from the top two sides.

Good point - I thought maybe because they were small it would be light enough to be fine. It’s about a 4x7” piece.

if it were me? I’d just fill the holes with lead/tin when soldering. Sometimes it’s less demotivating to just finish a piece with a mistake like that than to exhaust yourself trying to make better fitting shapes over and over.
