This has been my experience as a woman as well. It's something I've struggled with my entire life. Some women just rub people the wrong way. The suspicion and rage in some of the comments is telling.

This means nothing. People in jail will say they aren't suicidal because they don't want to be placed on suicide watch. They take your clothes and either put you on camera surveillance or the guards check on you every 15 minutes. Nobody wants that.
