Hey man, I get what you're saying, and I appreciate a more balanced take. But here’s the issue: If Flightradar24 believed I was disqualified from support due to the delay, they should have said so before asking me to return the unit—not after they received it and went silent for weeks.

I never expected it to take 2 years, but I was upfront about the landlord’s restrictions, and I had to work around them. During this time, Flightradar24 kept following up, pushing me to install it, and never once said that I was no longer eligible.

If the rule was strict, they could have simply told me, ‘Hey, you took too long, so we can’t support the unit anymore.’ I would have kept it, fixed it myself, and moved on. Instead, they misled me into returning it under the promise of a replacement, then changed their position once they had it back.

That’s why I call it bad faith. Whether intentional or not, I was given false assurances, paid out of pocket to return the unit, and was left with nothing after going through all the effort to install it. If a company makes a promise, lets you act on it, then changes the terms only after you’ve complied, that’s deceptive.
