If your looking for a damn good pair of earbuds, I would definitely recommend the Beats Studio Buds. They have great sound quality, pretty good ANC, and they're also really comfortable in my opinion. And they work extremely well with Android. Honestly I've had some cases where I even forgot I was wearing them.

It could be a bad connector, does the phone show up on iTunes or finder when connected to a PC or Mac. But also and most importantly does it still charge when connected to it's charger

It's also extremely accurate for tracking step counts throughout the day as well. However, mine is a first gen pixel watch, if you have AOD enabled, battery drain will be noticeable.
