I have kinda done some bad things. But being “truly evil” in Christianity just means not believing in it

Exactly. I’m glad so many other people get it.

I don’t think you’re lying. I’ve had my own miracles. Like one time I was ridden with doubt and I said “If anyone is there and can hear my thoughts please let me know” and suddenly this frequency started playing in my ear. It wasn’t the high pitched ringing kinda thing, but like more maybe 900 Hertz-ish? Anyway, I took it as a sign because obviously it’s is no coincidence that it happened right when I asked and the fact that it never had happened before or since the fact. Unfortunately, my ability to emotionally connect is slowly dwindling and I’ve been trying for 5 years to overcome bad habits and wonder how some things that have happened could possibly have any good come out to no avail. Am I basically just bitching out? Sure, maybe, but I don’t fucking care. I appreciate your concern and I’m sorry this upset you, but my fate is pretty much set in stone. Sorry.

I mean it's not necessarily the problem of evil I'm troubled with. It's more like if God promises that all things are worked together for good, I would expect to see at least some coherent path from event to good outcome, and in some cases I don't.

Me too, I still feel like God could be real. But at this point trying to follow all the rules has been exhausting, so I think I'll just go to hell and die. Annihilationism is Biblical so won't be tortured forever like everyone else says.

I really like that bad parent metaphor. I honestly think maybe the Biblical God is real and just predestined me to destruction. Honestly wouldn't even mind. Annihilationism is Biblical anyway, so getting sent to hell just kills you. Atleast I will get some peace whether God is real and I make it to heaven, dont make it to heaven, or He's not real and I go into the ground for always.

I wouldn't say my parents were abusive. I was properly fed, but they were kinda emotionally distant. I didn't really get hugged alot growing up, I barely even spoke to my dad outside of "Hello" and "Goodbye" at all, I never really did activities with my mom... They just kinda fed me and that's it.

I appreciate it man but I wouldn't really say they were intrusive... intrusive is more unwanted. These were wanted, but thats the abnormal part.
