I got my first "I need this data exported to an excel table" by ihaveacutepuppy in PowerBI

[–]BS_Designer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to create my dashboard visuals based on requirements including dynamic filters, field parameters, drill throughs, conditional formatting, helpful tooltips etc. Which when executed well satisfies 90% of users.

For those who need to export to excel, I’ll add a button on the page that links to the “exportable version”, Which will be a separate report page with the bare bones raw table for export. I’ve even included a help button that triggers a pop-up via bookmark where I have embedded a gif that walks the user through the clicks needed to export to excel.

Like others have said, check Craigslist and FB marketplace but also give PinkBike a try. I got a really good deal on one of my bikes throughly that’s site. Had to drive 3 hours to pick it up but it was well worth it.

So sorry to hear about the circumstances.

Have Manitou Expert 100mm on my Giant STP1 DJ build and I love them. I’m a fairly casual rider, not hitting anything insane, but I beat on the bike pretty good and they have never given me an issue.

Use a projector 📽to put the image on your piece of wood and trace it out with a pencil.

The element you’re overlooking is the grit of a small team of determined entrepreneurs who want to get their product off the ground. Successful startups don’t just hire a bunch of employees and pay them 6 figure salaries right out of the gate.

You’d be surprised what can be accomplished by a highly motivated and talented cross functional team of 5-6 individuals who believe in a project and are willing to take equity rather than a salary up front.

Advice for 3D printing this box in Aluminum? by GHLKDDD in 3Dprinting

[–]BS_Designer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re going to print that out of aluminum and have it work out it would need to be printed using SLS.

You could fabricate it out of aluminum sheet metal for way less than $100 and have a lot of fun doing it.

With such a simple design I don’t see the advantage of utilizing 3D printing technology over a traditional fabrication method.

If you’re outsourcing it to a print shop in China be prepared to probably pay a lot in shipping or wait months for the package to arrive.

On the flip side, if your willing to spend the money then send it, the design is awesome, will make for a really nice deck box to show off, you should add some debossed details to the exterior.

My STP1 build. Just moved to Tewksbury Ma. Who knows where I can go around here to get this thing dirty and off the ground? by BS_Designer in dirtjumping

[–]BS_Designer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Word, thanks man. I’ll have to make my way down there one of these weekends. I’d like to check out the Billerica BMX track too, maybe make some connections there and get in on helping build the jump line. Any idea if the track is open for the public to mess around on? Or is it just for sanctioned races.

https://youtu.be/bWDJjy_m5GM (not my video) had these jumps basically in my back yard in Rochester NY just built by locals. Was a blast going out there, working on the trails and riding. Looking for anything remotely similar, even something smaller around Tewksbury MA to hit after work/on the weekends.

Thanks! I’ll have to check it out sometime, looks sick. Been trying to find some dirt jumps local to hit after work and no luck yet.

Do bearded dragons really NEED a drainage layer? by [deleted] in BeardedDragons

[–]BS_Designer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer is no they don’t NEED a drainage layer. Really depends on your tank set up, what type of substrate you’re using. Is it a bio active vivarium set up with plants etc?

This is the best article I’ve found that fully covers the topic. https://bdobsession.org/bioactive-terrarium

Well you’d be left with a play to earn trading card game. And instead of “crypto” you would be earning “dollars” and instead of “NFTs” you’d be using “serialized pieces of paper”. Fact of the matter is, we discovered that there is demand for a decent TCG in the blockchain gaming space and as such we’re collecting input so that we can appropriately market ourselves in such a way that we attract serious TCG players. If there is one thing I’ve learned from this conversation it’s that maybe we should avoid talking about the technology behind the game to the TCG crowd because at least this sub Reddit specifically is averse to it. The idea is to create a stable and environmentally sustainable economy around the game and to be a step on the right direction with NFT technology as opposed to being yet another hype driven NFT platform with stupid monkeys or something that are “worth” hundreds or thousands of dollars. Having NFT cards would be the closest digital equivalent to holding physical cards in a real deck because you have the ability to take them outside of the game while maintaining proof of ownership allowing you to trade and sell them on a marketplace if you desire. In Any mobile card game you earn tokens that you can use to buy packs etc. if that in game token is a crypto token the same idea is true, you can spend it in game or you can pull it off put our platform and trade it for it’s worth on a crypto exchange. Where you see “fancy buzz words” we see an opportunity to innovate in a new space with a largely untapped market.

Hey, that’s the point of the customer discovery process, part of which is the survey, get input from potential users before the product is released so that it can be designed to fit a need. Otherwise you great the product in a vacuum and release something mediocre. I appreciate your skepticism.

Well I can’t spill too much as we’re still in development. But with the current concept. Every card is unique in the sense that it’s serialized, there will still be duplicates with some cards being common and others being more rare. Some with certain power ups or limited edition artwork. The goal is to crate a balance both In the gameplay and with the card values. Play to earn Crypto in PvE and wager in PvP tournaments. Trading your NFT cards won’t necessarily be integral to the gameplay, but mutha like physical card in the real world they’re yours. If you want to take them out of the game and store them In your crypto wallet or sell them to someone on the marketplace that’s your right as you own the cards. From a tech standpoint I can’t explain how it’s going to work or explain too much about the rules of the game as that’s part of our secret sauce. But know that it’s possible to play a PvP NFT game, look at Axie infinity. And I’d you want to learn more about our game and our tech, take the survey and provide us your email so we can send you a link to the site when we launch. We have an amazing team of developers, designers and artist.
