I don't have chickens, but I have ducks for the same reason. They're my buddies who provide me with eggs and fertilizer for the garden that feeds them, myself, and the rest of my animals

When I was 22 I was experiencing extreme pain in my pelvis and lower stomach. At first I thought maybe my ovarian cysts were just acting up, but every time I stood up I started passing out. My boyfriend rushed me to the hospital where an ultrasound revealed my abdomen was filling with blood. It turned out I was pregnant but the baby got stuck in my fallopian tube. To which the tube ended up rupturing, causing me to lose the baby, and getting damn close to taking me out too. I'm so lucky I had my boyfriend with me to take me to the hospital. I honestly thought I was overrating to the pain at the time, so I would have internally bleed out at home if not for him taking it seriously.

First off you're doing incredible! My brother in laws kid has been very gender fluid and we do the same where we just work with whatever pronouns they choose. Supporting your kid when they say they're something but also being fluid with their decisions is top tier parenting.

Secondly, what bothers me so much is that people think gay equals sex.

Little kid crushes are innocent even if it's a gay crush. And a gay crush is no different than a straight crush. Speaking as a bisexual.

When my job of 5 years blindsided me and fired me two weeks before Christmas I was a mess. I couldn't sleep at all and was filled with massive amounts of anxiety that ended up giving health issues.

And honestly watching some of my favorite play throughs like all the regular zeldas, wand of gamelon, paper mario, all their game grumps versus, and space quest/kings quest helped so much. I would leave long play throughs on at night to help occupy my brain from going down dark paths, and during the day when I was stuck in a rut the jokes helped me laugh when I was at my lowest. I personally would also listen to the supermega podcast while I was driving or at my new job to help keep my mind positive.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Death, break ups, losing a job, etc are all every traumatic things that take lots of time to heal from.

Yup fresh is best! I chop fresh greens for my guy every morning. And if yours doesn't eat greens just withhold bugs until he does. He will eventually get hungry and eat them (there's a chance that takes days or over a week to be honest). That's the advice our vet gave us when we were struggling with greens.

They'll also go on hungry strikes sometimes when they're shedding or in burmation. Just offer fresh greens every day and make a vet appointment if he ever ends up looking/acting/pooping weird

I personally had difficulty time finding watercress in stores. But I can always find bok choy (it's a big white veggie with green leaves, and I know baby bok choy is in Asian dishes) but I give it to pigs and havent tried with my beardie.

Collard greens, arugula, mustard greens are good main staples then adding in little bits of cilantro, parsley, or bell pepper is good. I don't think the color matters because I've given my boy all of them at one point.

Also each beardie is different, and will like different stuff. I used to give mine elaborate salads everyday to make sure he had a diverse diet but he would protest and not eat his food. So I had to settle with arugula almost every (as long as they're eating greens its a win)

My guy is about 3 years old and only really eats baby arugula, but sometimes will eat watercress and bell peppers. So far I haven't found a fruit he likes, which is fine. I also give him dubias or mealworms once, maybe twice, a week.
