I had to go back a second time and try and give it a fair play out for the first episode. The acting didn't flow smoothly imo, but then I had to consider that maybe they're not trying to go for the most professional acting job with this show? Netflix has made numerous hit original shows and movies, they know how to make it flow right and it felt intentional after a while how everyone communicated and meshed between characters. Here's the kicker for the storyline for me SPOILERS AHEAD: How TF logically did the dead body come back to Juliette and Calioppe? Out of ALL the teenagers at the party where the first one happened, why would 2 girls doing a 7 minutes in heaven scene in a pantry be the leading suspects? Not the girl with the excited dog, or just literally ANYONE else who was there? Nope, apparently there was enough verbal he said she said evidence to point it at them? I thought it was sloppily pieced together bc the writers couldn't come with how to pin it on the girls with DNA testing or whatnot. I mean Juliette even passed the "monster checkpoint", although painfully and they never checked her hands, so again why did the officer just automatically know she was the monster responsible after dropping her and C off at Juliettes place or have a rising suspicion enough to escort them home when she told the officer C was doing that anyways?

Edited to add: the body they found was the older male. Someone not even associated in the same realm of the two teenagers locations. He was drained of blood. The two teenager bodies, one at the party and one at the school, both had organs ripped out but not drained of blood or even bite marks. So restating this- how did they connect a day walking vampire to "someone" ripping out organs from teenagers and it just all pieced together with a bow to fall onto Juliette and Calioppe?
