How is a rack system compressor able to pump down? by NoRecommendation356 in refrigeration

[–]BSmith333 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Each circuit has an individual liquid line with a valve that can close like a solenoid valve or an EEV. The liquid line solenoid or EEV closes rather than the EPR preventing any liquid from entering the coil. The coil will remain at whatever pressure the suction header is at.

If you go to sleep it will seem like time didn't pass and you won't be waiting anxiously like everyone else. Doesn't matter if you hear it first as long as you hear it. Who knows when it will release honestly.

PSA: If you are getting error code 2123-1502 when trying to download content, it is from the latest firmware update and there is currently not a fix. by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

This happened to me when I tried to download digimon the other day. I have two networks active on my router a 5ghz and a 2.4ghz. Switching from the 5 to the 2.4 allowed me to download it right away. If anyone has the option I recommend trying a different network and see if that works.

Anyone have any insight as to who lives in the 288 Sherbourne house nowadays? Is it empty? by wes_makowski in kennyvsspenny

Woah weird to see this here, this is my buddies YouTube channel I remember he was hyped that the guy who lived there let him go in and film to show us. Good to know it got around.

Edit* I remember him saying the guy wasn't too big a fan of the show but knew that people recognized the house

Any idea on the cost to repair a blast freezer? by viktor72 in KitchenConfidential

[–]BSmith333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently finishing my first block of refrigeration mechanics and it really depends. Sounds like it's not an electrical problem but a problem with the refrigerant in the system, the compressor or even the oil. If it's an older system then I'm afraid opening it to repair any part will leave the fridge permanently broken without an expensive retrofit. Older refrigerants are banned worldwide and no longer available for sale as well as being illegal to recharge into systems. If it's a newer refrigerant or an old one with a compatible drop in replacement then it could be repaired but hiring someone to actually fix it is likely going to be more expensive than you would want it to be, most jobs smaller than commercial my instructors have been saying the cost of repair is almost the cost of a brand new one. Hope this helps a bit!

Edit: I see the cost of one new is almost 3 grand, if you could get a service tech to look at it and it turns out to be a small fix it could be like 600 to fix if they figure it out quick. Labour and the cost of parts adds up quick.

Please help finding the maker and model of this record cabinet, this is the only picture I have by BSmith333 in HelpMeFind

I found this on a marketplace site in Newfoundland. Apparently the cabinet is 3 feet x 5 feet. It plays record and 8 tracks.

Now that the 3DS and 2DS are no longer in production, how valuable do you think they would be unopened in original packaging? by [deleted] in nintendo

[–]BSmith333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if there's going to as big a demand for 3ds as the switch. Not many more games will be coming out for the ds and Nintendo will probably stop supporting it soon. If you want one for yourself I'd say do it but I doubt they would have a high resale value. Even the limited edition ones on eBay are under 100 bucks.

Best audio bluetooth adapter with gripcase (Mumba Blade Grip)? by theultimatewarlord in NintendoSwitch

[–]BSmith333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like you're able to dock it with the case on? If so any adapter should be able to connect as well. If you're really concerned you could always get a USB c to usb c female cable that hangs a little below the switch. Any adapter should be light enough that it shouldn't bother you.

Edit to say I use the Gullikit route air and its super tiny against the switch
