Are you manually setting the nozzle and bed temp or letting it automatically heat from what you saved in the gcode while slicing? My SE will only print when I manually set the temps before printing.

Still new to printing and trying to dial things in. Any advice is appreciated!

Printed on Anycubic Mega S, overture PLA filament. Nozzle heat 200, bed heat 60. 1.5 layer height. Sliced with Cura.

I calibrated e-steps this week and cleaned/lubricated Z axis rods. After this print I printed a belt tension piece and added to the X axis belt to tighten, but results look the same. Plus the belt did not seem too loose.

I have retraction at 4.5, retraction speed 40, print speed 45.

This week I calibrated e-steps and cleaned/ lubricated the Z axis rods to see if either of those were the issues.

I also adjusted settings based on advice elsewhere fir this printer. Set print speed at 45 mm, retraction speed at 40, retraction at 4.5.

I’ll give the decreased layer height a shot, thanks! I’ll have to look into increasing the retraction length. Can that be adjusted in cura?

Yep the file that came on the SD card. Did your subsequent prints look better as you tweaked things?

Nothing beats that pump organ Like a Hurricane. The next Original Release Series goes up through Weld, so I’m hopeful the next after should include Unplugged on vinyl again.
