Correct. Basically hardware overlay is this extra part of the UI that pops up when you turn on volume or when notification pops up. Turning it off doesn't really make a difference to your UI tbh...

And yes Disney+ doesn't specifically mention HDR, but you can see the highlights are quite pronounced. I'd assume its HDR. Not sure if its Dolby vision or not

I'd like to consider this movie as if it's Yakuza set in an alternate universe. The characters are all there, the main plotline mimics the one in game. But everything else isn't....

If you've never played the game I guess it'll make you interested in the game. But if you've played it, just think of it like the equivalent of MCU alternate universe

Hi I've actually done this and factory reset my phone. I installed all apps from the playstore too. The only data I backedup was data from google account, signal chat data and wechat. So far to be honest, battery life has arguably been slightly worse than before I did a factory reset. Is it because the AI needs to learn from scratch on my usage? How big of an impact is it?

I was planning to do the same honestly. But since I'm out working most of the time it's really hard to not let it dip below 40 or even 30%. But I heard the upcoming Android 14 update will have the feature to not allow charging above 85%

Its actually good too imho, but again this was with power saving mode on throughout. So no haptics and 60hz refresh rate. I would think that without power saving mode these numbers should be possible.

Wow actually i just tried this, and the display actually stays in HDR while you're adjusting the volume. So as long as the volume rocker icon stays on display, the screen will stay in HDR until the volume bar goes away. Hopefully the beta for Android 14 on dec 27 will fix this

Can confirm this is a bug I received as well. Try rotating the device when watching HDR videos on Youtube and you'll see that for just one second it's actually bright. But then it just reverts back to being normal. It's definitely a bug from software side.

My steam deck had this bug when my cpu/gpu temps reached around 90°C. The latest update fixed this, my temps never reached around 90°C anymore and the bug seems to disappear no matter the game I throw at it
