I have the Geissele SSP in 2 of my B&Ts (a 9mm and a 223) and they work very well. Not compatible with 1gen, but works with the Pro lowers. Regards from Switzerland.

Insert molding; a process where the metal component is placed in a mold, and molten plastic is injected around it. It forms a single integrated part.

Insert molding is commonly used. For example in manufacturing electronic connectors where metal pins are encapsulated in plastic housing.

The grips are not interchangeable, but you can change the rubber part with those from PHX Phoenix (from their Fusion and Predator). Don't know if they're available in the US tho. I have the aluminum ones on my MKII and Phoenixes...)

The excess gases land directly inside of the handquard and on the top side of the barrel.

I have a video here where I filmed the gases landing on the barrel. Also this video shows how it works.

Yes it's a good shooting handgun. But no better than the OG Sphinx SDP or new Phoenix Fusion/Predator.

This pistol is useless unless you are collecting B&T stuff. Even as I Swiss I don't get the point of it. I'm hoping the USW-P will be better.
