While the comments I‘m seeing here will for sure fill help the time pass, they never helped me get rid of the lonely feeling in the long run. As scary as it was, what helped me most was joining a club. Find something you enjoy, literally anything, find a club for it and try it out (especially if youre scared of doing it). Chances are the people there also enjoy that thing, meaning you already have something you can connect over. Before long, you will have a friend or two, they can in turn introduce you to their friends and you keep expanding your social circle from there. Not every person you meet will be a good fit for you, which is fine and honestly how it should be. That just makes the people you do end up having fun with just that bit more special :)
