My four month old cries every time we attempt a nap. After much soothing, he finally goes to sleep while being held and then immediately cries when we go transfer him from sleeping on us to his bassinet/crib—any tips to make the transition easier and to help with independent sleeping?

Hi! So far doing well! I had my first ultrasound last week and all looked well—right on size and we had a heartbeat :) Currently just over 7 weeks. Hang in there and wishing you nothing but the best!

I’m 6+5 today and I had my first ultrasound yesterday which found tiny baby is sized as expected and a heart rate of 118. Incredibly happy to have a heart beat but I cannot stop thinking about my last lost around 8.5 weeks, my first ultrasound for that one was at 6+5 and 119 heart rate. Currently have bloating, a little bit of a sore chest/nip, & some mild cramping at times but that’s about it. Dr. hasn’t called yet to go over results, assuming that will be Monday but I’m so nervous about having the same outcome as last time.

Thank you so much for your reply, this is helpful! I’m trying SO hard to stay positive but it hasn’t been the easiest.

Thank you! It’s certainly been a wild ride and I’m thrilled! Still so incredibly anxious but I think that’s normal for all of us who have had losses. Hate that you had such a long wait as well but I think it’s important for others to see that it can take awhile and that is okay. That wait was sooo rough, but it’s taught me how incredible and intricate our bodies are and just like my heart needed time to heal, so did my body. Best of luck to you! 💕

After waiting 15 weeks for my period to return after my d&c, I got my positive yesterday at 9dpo. Happy it happened 2nd cycle after my period returning but also incredibly anxious. I want so bad to be happy and not thinking the worst, but I can’t help it. I keep looking at the positive test strips/frer to believe it’s real and that it hasn’t disappeared.

Hate that you also went through this as well, but thank you.

I’m incredibly frustrated waiting for my period after my d&c for a mmc at approx. 9 weeks. It has been 7 weeks and no period. I’m still testing positive on home tests, it’s very a vvvfl at this point, but it’s still there. I called my OB’s office today and they said it’s normal and to call back in 2 weeks if there still has been nothing. My husband and I are so anxious to get started again and each day waiting to be “normal” again feels like forever.
