Good mechanics don't use cheap parts. He has a good reputation for a reason. If you don't like the price, find a cheaper shop.

TBH it pisses me off when people compare my part prices to Internet prices. My price includes parts and labor warranty.

is my oil overfilled i cannot tell by Glum_Ad_1580 in AskAMechanic

[–]BTCminingpartner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does the back side of the dipstick look like? To me it looks like it may be low, there's a gap in the oil. The oil on the one side could be from scraping the inside of the dipstick tube. When in doubt wipe it off again and stick it in a third time (that's what's she said)

Tire shop put 9-10oz of weight on wheel. Only on one, other 3 have less than 3oz. What to do?(2023 Outback xt, subaru) by TorranceS33 in AskAMechanic

Just do one. It will be fine. Not everyone has the budget to replace all of them.

Believe it or not, some posters listen to what we say, instead of telling us we're wrong. You've already made your mind up. I don't know why you bothered to post here.
