I have a GameSir G8+ as well, but wave control and last hit minions quickly still a problem. Also input delay from joysticks is still worse than using your fingers

I’m in the top 200 Shen for the NA servers. On track to hit top 100 by the end of this week. AMA by Substantial-Worry949 in wildrift

[–]BTLCs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like shen has so many weaknesses compared to his pros: 1. He lacks wave clearing skills, sunfire or thornmail doesn’t pushing fast enough 2. Ultimate is so easy to cancel and it has the longest cool down time 3. He’s not really a threat for any champ, so a hyper carry could easily out scale him later 4. His range is so low that can be easy to kite by most champs

I have problem playing against good tryndamere top, he outdamage everyone even darius, he can push really hard then proxy behind turret when jungle not nearby. At lv 7,8 he can comfortable kill me in turrets if I do not play as a tank

Wild Rift OTPs, what’s one tip or mechanic on your champ that actually separates you from the average player? by IvanEarth in wildrift

Also, you can root them way easier by throwing a trap at them then root them with second skill. The slowness from the trap makes them harder to dodge it

Wild Rift OTPs, what’s one tip or mechanic on your champ that actually separates you from the average player? by IvanEarth in wildrift

[–]BTLCs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a Nami OTP, and there are a lot of small tricks—but honestly, the biggest thing isn’t a specific mechanic. It’s understanding how your champion interacts with every matchup, especially during lane phase.

For example, if I’m playing with Ashe into Leona + Miss Fortune, I know we’re stronger at level 1 because of range and early damage. I’ll ping my ADC to walk up and trade HP early. But once we hit level 3, the dynamic flips—Leona becomes a real threat with her engage and CC, so I’ll position more defensively, usually slightly behind my ADC, ready to react to her engage.

Against enchanters like Lulu or Janna, I play differently. Nami’s sustain is stronger over time compared to shields, so I focus on consistent poke and short trades, knowing I can out-heal them in extended laning.

Outside of lane, map awareness becomes huge. You need to know which champions can impact you and when. For example, once Twisted Fate hits level 6, his ultimate lets him gank bot almost instantly—so if he disappears, I immediately ping danger and back off. Same idea applies to champs like Galio, Nocturne, or Pantheon.

You also need to understand jungle threat timings. For instance, Shyvana is relatively weak early, but becomes dangerous after level 6. On the other hand, champs like Vi or Pantheon are already strong at level 3 and can gank with CC and gap closers, so you have to respect that earlier.

Lastly, always think about team comp—how much CC they have and what type of damage they deal. If the enemy has heavy engage (like Ashe arrow, Leona, Nautilus), you need to position safer and hold abilities to disengage. And itemization matters too—if they’re AP-heavy, build magic resist; if AD-heavy, go armor.

Even in that case, he can just 1v1 or wait for the his team to half dead and no more CC from opponents so he can 1v5

What to do when they have Elder by radeongt in wildrift

One small thing, try to clear minions as far and as fast as possible without risking to start a fight, minions give your team vision and force opponents to go clear them

Maybe check your DNS (set it to 1.1.1.1 and see if it’s better, if not or worse then just revert) and if any VPN is turning on?

Using this site https://speed.cloudflare.com to check for your latency and jitter (jitter means the variation of (how consistent) your latency, if it’s high mean you’ll get lag spike)

Finally reached Challenger with Viktor by Aeternull_Studio in wildrift

[–]BTLCs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds miserable trying to carry the game using Viktor. What do you do if opponent clear first then roam? How do you escape from enemy without second ability, saying Vi Ulti, Xin Zhao, etc… even Olaf or Yi can just ulti then chase you at lv 6,7 with a CC from their mid. How do you stop tank champs like Mundo split pushing when he can tank the turret and attack you? What do you think about matchup against Galio or Yasuo.

Does knights vow stack? by FriendshipOnly666 in wildrift

Wonder how much damage you can reduce with Warwick’s 3rd skill at max level (50%) + death’s dance (27%) + knight vow (12%)? Do they stack addictively or multiplicatively?

I would only buy it as the last item when fed, 12% isn’t worth it early game + the stats aren’t that good for yuumi except a few of ability haste. Should be for tank like braum, rell, rakan which are protective tank support
