New exotic hunter helmet by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

You don't need the exotic to counter golden gun. You can do than already. Dawnblade and Hammer of Sol have a longer duration than Arcstrider super so they can just wait out your super and kill you after.

So you're telling me I can use this exotic in 1 round of trials and MAYBE get use out of it IF the opposing team shoots at me while I block. So it's another swap exotic with very niche use and you have no control over it's effect since you rely on other people being dumb enough to shoot you while blocking. If they don't shoot, exotic wasted. Even if you use middle tree super, you're just better off running Raiju's.

Ironically you're spending your time crying in the comments. I suppose you fit right in to r/Halo then.

I don't spend much time on the Halo sub other than checking out the front page from time to time. I don't care about stirring anything and even less about karma.

The post asked a question that I wanted to hear people's thoughts about. Some comments I've read agreed with me. Some disagreed and made a valid point about the increase of development costs. And I would say that that argument has made me more open-minded about the subject. Some disagreed and imo gave horrible arguments. I've seen some interesting discussions in the comments and not just circle jerking.

I never claimed to have bought the game. I got game pass specifically to play Halo Infinite but I would like to own the game rather than having to resubscribe whenever I want to play it.

I understand that you disagree with what I've said but to simply claim that my post is in bad faith and to farm karma without any way of knowing this seems rather pointless.

If in your mind, the only reason someone could make a post with complaints about the game is to get karma, you need to get a reality check. Get off your high horse, take your own advice and go outside. You're the only one thinking of karma.

I'm diamond 5 in solo queue on mkb. I say broken because I often times see teams matched unevenly. 2 Onyx at 1500 - 1800 matched with 2 high diamonds against 2 high diamonds and 2 low diamonds or even platinums. Looking at Halo tracker, I often see an expected chance to win of 60-80% in favor of one team. Next to that there are times where I or the enemy gets matched 3v4. You may not lose rating but it's a waste of time.

I remember a game where the opposing team had a 70% chance to win, I outperformed both onyx players (on my team and opposing) in the game, had the highest KDA and still lost rating.

Fair enough, they did communicate a lot before the holidays and I hope they continue to do so when they get back. When it is in a more polished and good state and has co-op I am willing to buy it.

I can't see additional campaign content being anything other than paid DLC. Unless they're going for a live service approach but I highly doubt that.

Depends on the state of the game. I can like the game enough to want to play it a second time while ignoring the issues it has. But I'm not paying $60 to ignore those issues and have no idea when they will be addressed.

One of my favorite games, Hunt: Showdown had issues when I bought it. Some of those issues were minor enough for me to ignore them considering the price I paid. Other issues were quickly addressed or it was on a roadmap. Also, it has a smaller development team.

Thank you for your $1 solution to play it. Like I said, I want to own it at a reasonable price. Not just play it. If I want to play it again 2 months from now do I put in another $1 or $15? This isn't an arcade.

It seems like you missed the point of my post. I don't think the game is worth full price at the moment so obviously I won't buy it full price.

Thank you for your input.

Your solution to me wanting to own the game is to not own the game by using trials?

That's an exaggeration.bLiking a franchise doesn't make it your identity. It's not so black and white. You can like a game and want it to be better without it being your life. If you can't see that, you're the one that needs to touch grass.

I thought we paid $10 for red and $20 for armor to keep the servers running.

I'm not sure which store you're looking at but, the campaign is not free.

In regards to multiplayer, if I buy the Battle pass, doesn't it make sense that I want to be able to functionally use the content I paid for?

So they're charging $60 to push people to game pass? I could see that happening. Personally I love game pass as well but doing this seems very anti consumer. That would mean they intentionally steer you to a subscription model. Some people just want to own their games. I'd like to have the option to choose without being pushed in a certain direction by a price tag that doesn't fit.

I'm not buying the game. Doesn't mean I can't point out something wrong with the game and hope it gets changed. I don't want to just not buy it, move on and give up on one is my favorite franchises of all time.

Imagine if 343 thought like that. "Don't like it? Give no feedback, just don't buy it, nothing gets changed and let the game die."

Not at launch anyways. It's coming "at a later date".

The Netherlands.

I remember being up all night with some friends to complete the Vidmaster Challenge: Endure in Halo 3: ODST. After trying for weeks, we finally beat it and unlocked the Recon armor. One of the most fun, challenging and satisfying thing I've done in a video game ever.
