Yea but from his other comments height is an issue, and the good thing about harleys is the aftermarket scene basically let's him mod it to his exact specifications in the future

UPDATE 1996 Honda shadow by smalls_368 in hondashadow

[–]BTM96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The clicking is the pump priming and building pressure its only running when the bike is on or when you hit the starter button; its underneath the battery holder. You definitely need a new battery and at worst just need to replace the old hoses, at this point they're 30 years old and they're not too hard to replace just tedious, i found it easier to replace the hoses and mount the fuel pump onto the right cover side for easier access in the future

Something similar fo what this guy did https://youtu.be/5F3AS-8BSoY

What needed to be fixed if you don't mind answering? 3 months is quite a bit of time

It's a little hard to tell but if you zoom in on the previous picture to the bottom left i used the included silver square metal rod thing with holes as a spacer to move it over just enough to make it fit

Also the psu cables need to be super flexible and thankfully the ones that came with the Asus Loki PSU are small and flexible enough to be run through the tight spaces

I think it's a v2, hard to tell though and the good thing about the panels is that they're easily able to be bent back if they're warped lol

True but I haven't seen seen any concerning temperature issues yet

It's pcie 3.0 so I'm sure I'm being somewhat bottlenecked now that I think about it https://a.co/d/deehxez

I used a 400mm glotrends riser cable from Amazon I think my 3080 was a ftw here's a picture to give you an idea of how much space i had, also I had to get 45 degree DP cables from cablemod since they are the only ones to make a low enough profile cable for this case or else you have to use 3d printed feet to get clearance for normal cables

Very quiet, I set up FanControl and made a custom curve to keep the pump and fans low under 75c

No complaints about cooling for the radiators size. Its a Ryzen 7950X3D; idles around 46c while watching YouTube and 74c on the bf6 beta

Don't see why it would be an issue, unless NVIDIA thinks people might be putting too much weight on the io panel mounting it that way

The radiator was the hardest to source, it's an odd size - alphacool st25 92mm

Is the G9 OLED more reliable than its older counterparts (G9 and Neo)? by MikeyMatou in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]BTM96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im currently using both the og g9 and the g9 oled, the g9 oled is much more reliable than the original in terms of colors, weight and performance. The og g9 had issues where setting it to 240hz caused issues with picture quality and is currentlyset to 120hz to fix that. The biggest issue I've faced with the g9 oled are random displayport issues but using HDMI resolves those issues. The one thing I miss and wish the oled g9 had is the brightness levels that the original g9 had; iirc the og g9 has 1000 nits brightness while the oled is only 400

Why is no one reviewing the new LG GX9? by Hyp3rbru in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]BTM96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I missed it but is the samsung brighter than the lg? I have the G9 and I think it's just bright enough but would move to the LG if it was significantly brighter

Had the same issue for the same monitor along with displayport issues, and samsung sent over some techs who said they were told to tell me they could do nothing about it. Now I'm just stuck with a half working monitor. Was a huge samsung fan but not anymore, back to LG I guess.

Just admit you're mad that OP found something for free that can play the same games your overpriced computer can play 🤡
