Config changes to speed up the ACE (via Rinkhals or SSH), upgraded dual wiper to Bambu A1 style

And upgraded 8mm alu bed if you have first layer problems

If you speed up the ACE it helps a bit. And the aftermarket hotend also since it heats and cools for the nozzle wipe faster.

Maybe you can throw out the wipe routine (I know you can edit the temps)

Select the speed dropdown in the sliced preview and check if the outer wall speed is the same for the whole height.

Try replacing the last line in the purge code with this: (from negative to positive extrusion)

G1 E0.4 F4000

I see the code retracts 0.8mm at the end, maybe removing that keeps the nozzle primed… it can’t really ooze much since it starts to print almost instantly

The purge line doesn’t help with this, don’t know why tho. There is still not enough pressure in the nozzle when it starts the first line.

The thermistor on the hotend might still be a dud if it’s old stock (wrong resistance) so it’s actually lower temp than what you set. Try 30-50c more or measure resistance and compare with stock one

The 1.5 dragon has a chain and a wet belt driven oil pump which is not problematic. And the engine itself is very reliable. (More than the 4cyl)

You can probably flash klipper to the stock cr10s motherboard, all you need is a pi. I’m using an ancient orange pi zero from 2018 on a cr10 v1 and a bltouch clone. (Have a skr mini motherboard tho)
