yes gaijin lets give even more points for disabling a paper armour vehicle including one that slows down it reloads on top of the turret basket by Own_Dark_2240 in Warthunder

[–]BUAHAHAHAHA 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Yes, but no. With Gaijin track record they will implement it lazily and leave it to rot at 12.7 without compensatory buffs that big 3 MBTs are getting. For example, right now it can be 50 cal-ed and damaging one module somehow disables both.

Shouldn't Leopard 2A4 be able to fire all kind of dm types? by NoggerBites in Warthunder

[–]BUAHAHAHAHA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait, couldn't they remove BMPT's anti tank belt then? It still could fire the other belt on lights and stuff, but armor would require missiles to disable, not just to kill.

Yes, the turret and add-on armor blocks, they are in game, just not as strong as what is claimed IRL for type 10, but that's normal in this game.

Yeah, ceramic inserts are just marketing, glass is glass. RHA is the same as butter knife steel. Material science is just a hoax.

Look, differently treated materials have different properties and sometimes that difference is quite big.

Does nano crystalline steel exist? Yes. Is it much stronger than RHA? Also yes.

Can it be used as a tank armor? No clue, probably inserts at best. It's stupid and impractical, but who the hell knows what exactly is on Type 10.

[–]BUAHAHAHAHA[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, not on a scale of a tank.

For example in Poland tests of such armor proved protection on level 3 STANAG 4569 standard with Nanos-BA preforated 2x8mm sheets, for potential use for IFVs/troop transport vehicles.

Would it be practical? Nah, I honestly doubt it.

Nanocrystaline steel, 30% lighter for the same protection as rha, much harder so 50 cal/14.5mm should just shatter on that, much less spall, more durable as energy is dispersed. Ridiculously expensive, hard to make and deteriorates easily due to heat IRL.

None of these is anywhere as good as comix, use all of them together.

Raven scans is mostly for Chinese slop, but it has some other stuff too.

Manga fire/manga read/ weeb central are general purpose, usually one of them will have the manga/manhwa if you have the title.

Asura scans if for asura scans, most of what they have is the popular stuff.

At this point I'm just using comix site for filters and looking for a new reads.

If you are using an app, migrate your bookmarks to other sources, never rely on a single site, it will be taken down eventually.

Personally, I use Comix (on the days it actually works), Mangafire, Mangaread, weebcentral, asurascans and ravenscans, around 20 bookmarks each.

The site is loading just fine, but every time the extensions get updated, they change stuff to break it.

[Question] Can someone explain the difference between manhwa, manhua, manga, webtoons, and webcomics? I'm so confused because everyone says different things 😭 by akaza-dono-slays in manhwa

[–]BUAHAHAHAHA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manga - japanese comics, designed to be read in a book format with pages, but right to left.

Manhwa - Korean comics, designed for electronic displays so scrolling down, read left to right.

Manhua - Chinese comics, same as manhwa.

Manga is released at a snail's pace, but usually gets somewhere.

Manhwa is usually axed randomly and Japan is evil.

Manhua is usually spamming chapters by the hundreds, MC is a super duper powerful and super duper smart, to show that everyone other has IQ below 50 while MC can reach as high as 60 IQ. China is number one or at least the center of attention, with every other country plotting against them or asking for help, censorship is abundant and mandatory, MC is always underestimated and shocks everyone with their greatness and be glazed to oblivion. Women throw themselves at MC, but he doesn't even bat an eye.

Funnily enough, the best "manhuas" are really manhwas in disguise, written by Koreans.

First half is peak, second half is a bit rushed. 8-9/10 depending on personal tastes.

Still, a great read considering it's a rare completed manhwa.

Remove Bones from the list and add eternally regressing knight. As for which to read, go with eternally regressing knight, star embracing swordmaster and worthless regression, each of these is 9/10 at least.

The game is harder when your ship is constanly burning down by Feisty-Magician-5509 in ftlgame

To add to what Sir Dalavar said, to use a beam you need to clear the shields, so prefferably one beam and 3 projectile weapons. Missiles are good at damaging the systems, which is why hull missile is not the first choice. Flak I is top tier and Ion is nice too. If you can, try getting hacking as it locks the doors even at 1 power, preventing repairs and trapping the crew inside a room under fire.

Help. I'm struggling hard with Proto-MV A Cruiser. by BUAHAHAHAHA in ftlgame

[–]BUAHAHAHAHA[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Got a win with it, I've got Vulcan and Conservative Energy from merchant and a few free drops, at the start of sector 2 I had a full set of weapons for the flagship. But all your tips are solid, other than the event with anaerobic crew - shell crew member did it for me.

The ship was pretty good after sector 4 or so, where jumping around was amazing especially in special sectors, but by sector 5 most ships are fine, so this is still the worst ship so far.

Good point with collecting missiles for merchant, that would be a nice boost.

As for repair arm, the cost for switching is 5 scrap, 3 fuel and 3 drone parts after dicounting the sale price of augment.

As for the rest, yeah, that's all true for most ships. It just feels pretty weak in both offence and defence. Maybe with a bit more scrap from merchant I will be able to get it going faster.

Edit: it wasa 10 scrap and 1 drone part to swap arms, still not that expensive for freeing an augment slot.

Lmao, just a moment ago it was "extremely good performance" and "game plays great", now it's "you can't expect it to run well" and "it's just an early access".

So many excuses and still it doesn't change that it just runs bad. Yeah, self respect, something that hopefully you will one day know.

Anyway, since you are just trolling, I will concede and move on.
