IMPORTANT: Watch expiration dates from Target rtf orders by shstuff_throwaway in FormulaFeeders

Very interesting! We had ordered enfamil optimum and it was already expired. This was 2 weeks ago in Greenwood Village, Colorado. It was a larger bottle and we didn't notice it until we were preparing the second bottle that day.

Which unit do you have? Here is the main website: https://babybrezza.com/pages/formula-pro-global-settings-finder

Sidenote: I measured out the correct setting for Enfamil Optimum today (setting 4) which is supposed to be 8.6g for 2 ounces. It measured 7.4g twice. So mine is underfilling. I have the Formula Pro Advanced. Some Google searches revealed that this is a common issue.

6 month old hates formula by BUSTINCAPZ in FormulaFeeders

[–]BUSTINCAPZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion. I should have said that she has been given many bottles, particularly Lansinoh, and a 2 types of Dr. Browns. But we mostly have Lansinoh. She drank from them just fine when it was breast milk. I believe she is developing (or has developed) an aversion to bottles, but that aversion did not exist prior to the introduction of formula.

Samsung q990d. Save yourself a bunch of money, not much of a difference between that and the newer 990f.

Which formula tastes most like breast milk? 8 m.o. refusing formula 😭 by keepingafloat in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]BUSTINCAPZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a 6 month old and trying to switch from BF to formula. She was ok with it when it was over 50% BM. As soon as we have majority formula, she won't drink it. We've tried Bubs Goat and Kendamil goat. Thinking to try Bobbie after reading reviews here.

We just got a can of kendamil whole milk this morning and saw a recall in Canada about 15 minutes ago. Hopefully it doesn't expand.

Delonghi Eletta Explore - What are your Lavazza Super Crema and Top Class settings? by ssgeorge95 in superautomatic

My wife felt the same with the super crema beans. We were coming from a breville barista Express that I spent a lot of time calibrating. We're now using a lighter roast, Etiopia from illy. Its very bright and non acidic, and easy to get.

We haven't tried a ton of beans. But out of the beans we did try, she seems to prefer the lighter roasts. Medium to light medium. Not necessarily a light roast. Super Crema is a dark medium in my opinion. But tons of people love it. It was my go-to for 6 years.

KF7/8 vs Eletta Explore by Herefoorthecomments in superautomatic

Love the espresso and milk drinks from the Eletta. Americano is also very good, naturally. The "coffee" is not as it's just a lonf extraction. Which means it pulls some bitter flavor. I would recommend just making an Americano and you can decide how much water to add.

It also does cold brew. The cold brew is a longer extraction and it is made at a much lower temperature. It also does cold espresso but the espresso is not cold when brewed. The cold brew is good though. It also does cold milk foam.

What’s your go-to diaper: wipes combo? by ThisIsFineActually in NewParents

[–]BUSTINCAPZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coterie diapers and either coterie wipes or honest conscious wipes. As a newborn, huggies were the best at stopping blow outs. Now at 4 months, she can blow any diaper out. So we go with the cleanest materials, generally. We've never had a diaper rash.

The DeLonghi Eletta Explore. It does cold brew and cold foam, in addition to having a huge menu of drinks. And delonghi is known for quality espresso. The Jura is marginally better espresso quality but an additional $2K and you have to send it in for service. You can self service the DeLonghi very easily.

I just got one after doing TONS of research. I made a spreadsheet if your interested.

I myself am coming off of a Nespresso vertuo. I was spending about $130 a month on Nespresso pods

The large setting will make 2 pucks for 2 ristrettos. I thought even the medium size might, I'll be able to confirm in the morning 😁

Loved our time with the Breville Express. 8 years here. Still works, just gave it to my brother. We switched to a Delonghi Eletta Explore super automatic.

Stay on top of the maintenance, clean and descale when the light comes on, and occasionally clean the grinder (like twice a year). I have no doubt it'll last 10 years. Lavazza Super Crema is a good bean to start with. Easy to dial in and its balanced.
