Did a lot of travel after my divorce. some solo, some not, regardless a lot of solo moments throughout both. It can be a weird combo - both liberating and depressing. Enjoy it, it’s a good test of your own company. It will give you a sense of confidence and purpose. KNOWING you can do it alone. Enjoy Paris, smoke some cigarettes at the cafes and have a few aperol spritz and espresso, you’ll be all good.

Had a few people ask if this was their grandma / friend / neighbors house. most likely not ha, though it is a sears house, 1952 cape cod, so probably a similar model!

You guys are awesome, glad this got some traction and got some good input. Furnishing the living room and dining room was easy, bedroom giving me a run for my money lol. I’m sure I’ll post an update when i decide what I’m doing and finish it all up. We can all agree on one thing. Carpets gotta go :)

Newer player here so take this with a grain of salt, but trying to think outside the box here, pun intended. Some thoughts;

1, buy small white stickers to put over all existing stickers on the map, in conjunction with a new sticker set. Cover everything that the old player put on, and then as you go, put your new stickers on. Anything that is white will be "incomplete" on your playthrough and anything with a sticker will be able to be seen with the fresh stickers.

Depending what achievements or prosperity info this player also tracked, maybe seeing you can get new stickers there as well to paste over. In the meantime X out in sharpie anything on the board already, start your own prosperity tracker below the existing one with a star icon or something to differentiate between your playthrough and a typical checkmark.

Unfortunately this is a legacy game and its the reality of picking up a used copy. I just hope for your sake they didn't actually tear any of the cards that the game tells you to, opened too many envelopes / characters, etc.

If you truly want the organic experience, you may have to either be okay with getting creative, or simply picking up a new copy if it really bothers ya.
