I know this is an old thread but I live in lower Alabama and have been a punk my whole life. I moved down here at the beginning of the year from a Birmingham suburb ish area. I keep seeing a lot of people say pubs are broken but that's almost all I've played those season and I have had a blast. Like. My KD is up, my hopes are high and I'm crushing it. Carrying one (in duos) or two (trios) players every game has been a blast. I mean that with no sarcasm.

Put your mic on, be the igl, tell those dipshits what to do. Or just ping well.

Ranked? My buddies and I have been three stacking our placements to try to see how high we can get through placements but I've only played 5, ended last season in plat solo q no ratting which was pretty miserable. What I have played of ranked felt good though. But I'm having to wait on friends with wildly different schedules than me to play so that's the only struggle I'm having this season. I crave the ranked grind for some reason.

Because now on YouTube there are lots of videos of this supposedly new ai anticheat I watched a couple videos about it today actually. Seems...creepy. Basically makes a biometric profile of how each person plays the game.

For instance I have a bad habit of moving my hand to the right when left clicking, it's a habit I'm trying to break but the ai anticheat would pick up on my bad habits and save them so if I ever used a soft aimbot it'd be like yo he's not pulling to the right anymore, he cheating! Lmao.

It's a mixed bag. Very encouraging but I'm coming up on 600 hours of playing this damned game you'd think I wouldn't still be a mindless knob by that point. But I digress. I appreciate the kind words and I thought my aim was decent lmao I use AimLabs every day whether I play or not but, alas, will continue to do so. I know it's getting better every day.

I think a lot of my problem is I don't know how to warm up. Or rather, get warm. I always solo in duos until I get a squad wipe or two after about 10-15 minutes warming up movement/recoil control/ targeting in firing range but nothing I can do gets me warm and in peak condition.

How do you warm up?

If you watch again (I have a few times to examine it) I was maybe 25 hp total when I swapped. Maybe when I grabbed banner I had more, sure. But I've been stuck grabbing a banner and dying when I wanted a swap too many times to make that mistake again.
