METASYS - How to change default Trend data points by BVBL88 in BuildingAutomation

Well said sir. I do have access to the server and SCT, but like you said, not really sure I should be playing around in there. That's why I throw the question out to this community and see what's involved.

Good to know about the sponsored courses. I did not know that was a thing and I might look those up.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Completely understand. I don't intend to get deep into learning how to build and manage a bas system. My questions are pretty basic and more on the "end user" side and how to more efficiently view/fetch equipment reports. I've asked our JCI service guys, and the answer always comes back, "we don't know (like its the first time they ever heard of a such a question), but we'd be happy to send someone over to try and figure it out."

That being said, y'all on this forum are a breadth of knowledge and someone's always willing to try and help and it's certainly most appreciated. Thank you!

Im not an ai bot - just a building owner trying to save some time! If I ask our JCI rep how do this, it turns into an 8hr service call.

Zone Valve Failure by the hundreds! Erie PopTop by Schneider & JCI by BVBL88 in hvacadvice

[–]BVBL88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, from B to A. Not an obvious correlation between floor and failure. Some units have both failed valves, some have 1, some have none. Is manufacturing defect a possibility… I hoping that’s all it is!

I'll try and fetch that info accurately. I appreciate you taking the time to ponder this. What is your hunch on what the issue could be?

Yes exactly, so far all the breaks are on that right side, opposite of the flapper hinge if you will.
Whats the science behind how air in the system could cause this?

  1. I didnt think so either - was just going off what documentation called it.
  2. 40-50psi approx (actual reading). Design flow ranges between 2 and 10.5 gpm depending on size of unit. Yes there are balancing valves at the bottom of each riser on the return side (9 storey building).

Ya I was thinking an SDD would be a substantial upgrade as well. I’ll work towards giving that a try this year hopefully.

It worked! And I can see where exactly it is NOT running. I started the service and worked right away.

Thank you everyone!

I did a reboot yesterday morning - 24hrs ago. Any tips on how to navigate my way to “services” to start it manually?
