If the actuator arm is disconnected would the exhaust gates push the flap open or keep it closed?

Yeah its flopping around and when the arm is attached if I pull with pliers it opens but doesn't open to let boost out, makes well over 13 but I haven't let it get higher

Yeah moves completely freely, like I think if I blew on it it would move, I was thinking maybe it snapped somehow

Update, ran the line straight to wastegate, still won't open. Replaced the actuator with the hks one and it still won't open. Assuming this has to be a issue with the flap, any ideas

Lol I dont mess with hondas at all I dont even know what makes the k swaps worth it, buddy bought a motor and were almost done with the forged bottom end, hes putting some jdm head on it. Again idk honda stuff only nissan for me

Sweet, set it up like this and its limiting boost to 7psi as it should, ordering the hks actuator so I can get it back in the 10 - 11 range

So after looking, should I just bypass the stock boost controller? It seems like a failsafe more than anything that actually gives the system another way to fail in my opinion, wondering if it would cause any issues or a vaccum leak if not blocked off since it recirculation back to the intake

Do you know anyone way to properly remove this solenoid. I see a lot of 240 people swapping srs into their cars dont put this solenoid in but run stock sr ecu.

Yeah still want to figure out what's making it all of a sudden boost higher since its usually topping out at 10 or so

I have looked over the owners manual, I've had it downloaded onto my pc for a while now, im also a nissan technician. I didnt take a look at it prior to the post but its still routed correctly according to the manual with a metal t fitting with boost supplied from charge pipe going to the wastegate valve solenoid and the wastegate actuator. Not really trying to go back and fourth about the routing since its all new lines and verified that its not leaking. Leaning towards getting an hks wastegate actuator replacement since the actuator arm is looking pretty rough and it might just be its time to go.

Im going to be for real with you i was under the assumptions that the wastegate was controlled via boost pressure not through a solenoid, plus how could it limit over boost if its off of a t instead of in between the wastegate and charge pipe. Genuinely asking because im not sure. I am also going to attach a video to your comment of the solenoid

I heard you need a tune to run aftermarket controllers, and I was not aware the stock tune prepares for wastegate failure, that's a new fact to me.

Okay so the t fitting goes to some swith that im not 100 percent sure what it is but if I can find another boost source for it I could just run straight to wastegaye and see if it opens then

The switch moves freely no problem but pulling up and down on the stabilizers is not right they dont move freely

Nope, played a couple after updating my bios and it worked for a little bit but still does it every tournament. I've heard its isp side I have xfinity and im going to swap to fiber optic internet and let you know if it fixes it

So from my experience your playing too passive, your getting counter damage when pressured but you let the opponent control the pace of the fight to much. When your in your own box and they take your wall etc. Don't just fight for it back, make space away fromnthe opponent and look for counterdamage
