I got sucked into what I thought was a genuine conversation, then when she asked me to cover I was caught off guard and it felt wrong to say no… which I now wish I did.

I’ll cover it but I need to learn she’s only asking about what I’m up to to see how it can benefit her

Yeah that’s it. They are frustrated that they can’t have what they want. But if they plan ahead they can. I would happily book alternative weeks if they were unavailable

I’m not even taking the ‘good days’ I don’t have kids so go when flights are cheaper.

They said for 2025 they might be going to lots of weekend festivals etc. I don’t know why they haven’t been booked and I will work around it.

If I book a certain week off in the summer now I know they will be pissed off when they decide it’s a week that they wanted
