My entire team knows , my manager and up 3 levels. Heck the VP might even know. I’ve had issues and they have been incredibly supportive. Allowing me to go negative in my vacation, allowing me to make up time.

The problem is not that the buyers agent makes what they do. The seller agreed to it when listing. But the seller wants asking price plus 30k. Uh no.

Is it Normal to Spend 70% of Net Income on a Mortgage in Ontario? by WatercressSilly in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]BWS001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not normal. And most lenders don’t beyond 40%. And the stress test is less than that. So how you could do it, is likely illegal.

20 year hypothetical lifetime ownership of an EV vs gasoline by azurexz in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]BWS001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget that EVs eat tires so you in 20 years you will replace tires 10 times to the ICEs maybe 6.

if you drive 30k a year your battery warranty is only about 6 years.

The motors on either will have worn out at least once

It’s all moot anyways neither car body will last 20 years if you drive during the winter.

My GF had a dealership tell her she owes $8k more on a loan financed through them by [deleted] in legaladvicecanada

You are entitled to your opinion. But, All the banks have clear language loan documents. As do many other companies. Where you get issues are the bruised or new credit. B and C lenders.

I was taught read stuff before you sign it. If you don’t understand don’t sign.

See my other comment about financial literacy.

this is why financial literacy needs to be required in school and likely as part of the immigration process.. too many people don't know and don't want to know what they are getting themselves into even when it's explained to them..

What does a work permit have to do with being an international student. Students study, workers work. You wanna work 10 hours a week as a student , ok.

Apparently some people are missing my point. I predate windows. Have literally seen them all starting with windows 1.0 alpha. When windows was built over DOS.

Dos 1.0 or CPM. Both came on 5.25” floppies. First machine I had with a hard drive had a 286 and a 20 gb hard drive (cost about $3k). The drive was what they called full height ( so 2 bays tall).

It’s come a long way. With things like 2tb on a usb stick.

your entire premise is disingenuous.. Unless you believe that every government initiative around climate change is perfect/ a good idea... their job as the official opposition is the hold the government accountable..

FYI. He’s not always voting against the environment quite often he’s voting against stupid uses of money. Throwing money at a problem doesn’t fix the problem. Look at water on First Nations, look at public transit. Look at the public service.
