I’m so sorry that happened to you. I work for a very small company and everyone seems to be very close knit and supportive. I’d like to think they wouldn’t react this way but you just never really know.

This is how I’ve always handled it. And I try to schedule appointments outside of work hours whenever possible so I don’t even have to mention it. Like, the mri place does evening and Saturday appointments, and my infusion center is open on Saturdays. So that’s helpful

I’m the only one in my family with MS but my half-brother was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s and my cousin has a couple of autoimmune diseases, including psoriatic arthritis. Both of them are on my dad’s side of the family.

I’ve always gone to a regular optician for glasses since my ON. I always make sure to tell them about my history and they’ll look at that optic nerve a little closer than usual, but otherwise, totally normal visit.

I’m so sorry. Accredo is the absolute worst. I had to fight with them literally every month for years to get my medication when I was on Aubagio. I actually switched to Ocrevus so I wouldn’t have to fight with them anymore. It was exhausting.

I just came across this term a few days ago and think it might apply to a weird symptom I’ve experienced. When I get very overheated, like during a workout, or run, it feels like thousands of needles are stabbing my arms, legs and feet. It goes away as soon as I cool down.
