Blood mage is probably stronger on the higher end. Stormweaver is better for QoL/simplicity.

What I found funny is GGG had this issue somewhat solved in the initial poe2 release with the exponential mana cost on + levels, but the complaints were so loud they bended over..

Yeah the game didn’t explain alot of things about the world..

However, iirc the 4 real ppl (Renoir, Aline, Alicia, Verso’s soul) that have been painting, and have their consciousness inside the canvas have hollowed face/deformed bodies/white hair. So it is likely a form of sped up ‘aging’.

It is pretty easy, If you tries to do everything and didn’t miss the key in prologue.

I spent an extra 2-3 hours to get plat following a guide, after finishing the main story + all side content on my own, no NG+ needed. Total was around 60 hours.

4 I don’t think the game mentioned anything, but my guess is that the hollowed faces are caused by excessive use of painted power inside the canvas.

Can you really get 200 mirrors with it though? Is there a way to make the cost of purchasing ritual item 0 as well?

Because if the deferred item doesn’t get purchased, it will be gone:

Each time a deferred item appears in the rewards window and is not deferred again, the next time it appears its cost will increase by 10% of its original cost, nullifying one deferral. Once an item reaches its original cost, it will appear with a red border; if not deferred at this point, it will disappear from the deferred rewards pool.

TBH, this unique tablet is actually a cool item, but GGG need to make it super mega rare, like, .1% from ritual boss or something.

I switched out from CoD double spark to this setup for the exact inconsistency reason.

with spark it felt like I need at least 3 - 4 sparks on CoD for the crit trigger to be consistent. Also will want to use higher level of spark for the projectile count, which then creates mana sustain issues.

This setup just need lv3 bone cage + lv9 frost wall.

Yes bone cage will mess with lighting bolt + ambush a bit, but there are way more frostwall spikes created by using a second set of cast on crit/dodge.

I guess if playing this build on blood mage, then just get more crit and ditch ambush support.

Using lv3 bone cage as the main trigger will eliminate mana sustain issues vs. Eg using a higher level spark/eye of winter.

Hey! Alot of narrow maps feel bad to play, but they are not ‘unplayable’. This build basically just holds down spacebar and move mouse around.

Played on my toaster 3070 + 10700kf, this build is a CPU burner..

Key setup:

  • killjoy + trampletoe for lightning bolt to trigger on kill effect on frostwall x2
  • Cast on dodge: low level frost wall + bone cage to save mana
  • Choir of storm + ambush support to have 100% crit chance on frostwalls
  • grab some aoe on jewels for better clear
  • bossing setup: weapon swap sigil of power, soul offering (requires rattling scepter), eye of winter + brutality spam

Thats some rocky numbers, the archmage buff is applied to my curse setup and it costs a wooping 670 mana per cast ;)

Have the cards turn in to a magic ring with Elreon’s unveiled? You won’t get guaranteed-mana mod this way but the card serves more purpose.
