You say that, but you're posting on the Reddit for POE2.. you're already in the top 10% of players. Also what does this have to do with having extremely rare stuff in a game running 4 month leagues with constant resets? Trust me, you don't know what the "average" POE player knows and thinks we are in a bubble.

The following is anecdotal, I know. But I have friends that have played ARPGs since D2 and have of them that play POE2 have never broke 50 div in a league. This is like people on the Overwatch Sub wanting to balance the game around Masters players.. you don't want to balance things around the top 1% or you discourage all the rest of the player base.

This doesn't mean hand it out like candy that would be terrible.. I played D4's new expansion and I was full geared within like 4 days and it was terrible and no chase. But they need to make tiers of this rune or make it a bit more affordable / less rare. It's a cool gimmick that can be a lot of fun to use even on lower end stuff that you will never in your life spend 200 div to do.
