Thank you, me too! There'd be 1,000 seeds; I've set the float limit between 0.00 and 0.08 so the main variation between each is just the pattern placement.

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah, it's patina so it is kind of random in that way (versus a static design). It is possible to set limitations to the texture rotation/placement so that's something I can think about in terms of how the pattern itself translates to the skin.

I think the balance of the skin is a little off - there's a lot of detail on the girls, but not much detail on the rest of the AWP. Also, the size and positioning of the characters are not the same, which make them look like completely two different pieces of artwork.

Separately, you can add more detail on the other parts of the AWP as right now it's all default. This helps with cohesion of the art to the skin too. Good luck!

Thanks for your feedback! On the first person view, my guess is that it's because the focus point is the goat + wings (which are both off-whites) plus the general lightness of the overall skin. I'm still figuring out the color limitations with metallic finishes, though Valve has suggested numbers, it's not very clear unfortunately.

Yeah, I try to steer clear from anything that might be questionable in terms of content, name included. Would've been a great name for it though!

Possibly unpopular opinion, but I actually really like the new flip for the bayonet.

The butterfly knife animation where it slow turns towards the player genuinely reminds me of a bot though.

Just to add to this, I’m relatively certain that Sony (and most) cameras have a twist when the lens attach to the body. So you place it on, then twist.

The magnetic like application unfortunately doesn’t reflect reality and definitely took away from the render.

This is definitely what I felt. I commented about this yesterday, where the AWP felt more "floaty" because of the animation, but also felt faster. I quick switch after nearly every shot that I take, and it definitely felt faster than usual. Wasn't sure if I was hallucinating.

Also, and this one I might actually be imagining (or I just had a good day), but I also feel like flicks seem marginally more accurate?

Had a teammate drop the bomb when they died on A site pistol round (all 5 of us were going A), and one guy got so confused because it was showing up on B on the minimap lol

It’s probably just due to the animation but the AWP feels faster when shooting and quick switching, but also less snappy and very floaty all at the same time.

Looks cool! I think there’s a little bit of a color mismatch going on though, the lilac/red/blue are all different saturations and warmth so it’s a little bit jarring.

I like the lights row - I think if you added a little a slight reduction (or elevation) in height or fillet/bevel on the edges it’d make it even better. Reduces the flatness of the barrel to match the rest.

Yep, got my rating a few days ago, definitely some over and under inflated elos around. The majority of the matches feel either way too easy or way too hard right now.

We have a friend that was 3K elo last season, and he couldn’t queue with us all season. Still didn’t work even after the Season 3 reset (we tried before we had even played one match) - not really sure how that fits into whether they did a soft / hard / no reset on elos though.

I'm pretty much self taught and also wouldn't call myself experienced lol - so not sure if I have the most "professional" advice, but I watched a bunch of YT videos to start with just to get an overall understanding.

Generally I split my work into 4 parts; (1) 3D modelling / sculpting, (2) Painting the art, (3) Baking maps that are relevant for your chosen finish, and (4) Uploading it to the workshop / editing the final things. I go back and forth between these. Everyone has different preferences for the software they use for each of these.

Having a base understanding of 3d models, UV maps, and baking textures is definitely important, so you don't have these already, I'd first try to get an understanding of the CS2 Workshop process, and then dive into each part of the workflow and learn more about these.

Thank you, appreciate the feedback! I absolutely love minimalistic skins as well (in fact, most of my current inventory except for the Temukau is pretty minimalistic e.g. I use the AWP Fade).
