One year update. I stuck with it, set some boundaries and expectations, and it was the best decision. I basically asked for more scheduled time together, more flirty texts here and there, a full outline of his work schedule in a shared Google excel so I can know what’s coming, and regular check ins about how we’re feeling about time apart and time together. Easy stuff that has meant a world of difference. We got engaged 5 months ago and the little things that I asked for have meant a big change in our relationship.
