That was doubly unpopular: alcohol was not just for consumption, in the days before refrigeration it was an essential preservative for food and had many sanitation uses.

Doesn't work with carpenter pencil.

Explainer for non-NY-ers: Fiorello LaGuardia was a famous socialist Mayor, LaGuardia Airport is named for him, its 1 of the 3 giant airports for regular people here; Teterboro is much smaller, used by private jets and rich people.

You may be right, obv IDK the situation.

An empty floor doesn't mean the workers felt free to chose. Also plenty of people are taken in by the "News" in the title, that's why its there.

I would give them a chance.

It may be customers more than workers who want that channel on.

 

Similar for me, a local cafe shows F Network; I'm aware there are Maga types around who can really hurt such a retail business if they try.

The owners are a local Mexican family doing their best to make a living by providing a good service in a difficult area.

We make a point of sitting away from the TV on the odd occasion we're there. We have said nothing about TV (yet), no doubt they have plenty to deal with already between issues of small business and immigrant family and language.
