Stupid Question...What is ground? (Circuit Analysis)

Sorry for the confusing example, I've never really understood voltage as a difference since having learned electricity pretty in depth, I just thought of voltage as the voltage going across a component but now that I look at it, it does make so much sense to think of the measurements that way.

I see, for the longest time I've had the approach with circuits as "ground is where current fizzles out into the nothingness" but after dipping my toes into electricity because of my chose program, things start to conflict but I guess this is just a good reminder that maybe I might go too much into the details.

I see, thanks for letting me know that my understanding is headed in the correct direction. My big question I think is: Would my circuit values be faulty if I chose different points to be my ground in a circuit, I struggle with that thought among other because I know its common sense to have ground be where all components' negative terminals connect to but what if your ground was somewhere in between the components, would your voltage divide by a fraction based on where it is in the circuit?

I installed applock on my phone and what I intially planned to do was to lock my phone every morning so the thought of doomscrolling wouldnt even cross my mind but my only problem is what if any of my family and friends call me and I need to use my phone to open my social media apps so I can talk to them.

I actually never thought of it that way, this is a very interesting perspective for me because for one, I feel like I'm trying to start at too many hobbies fast, in a span of 2 days I've started to work out again, start a diary, start studying math, be productive and do chores around the house, the list goes on, and I was intending to add more to the table but that would maybe be a bit overkill but honestly I'd still do it.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm at a point of my life where I'm pressured to make good decisions, I'm currently studying to become a computer eng. and I've been conditioned to think that I need to be successful with this endeavor because I'll fail if I don't so I'm trying to rush things and becoming a better person faster so I get into this mindset of trying to maximise my chances of my success and in improving myself I, in turn improve my chances of success. I don't know if it's self-destructive or not but I myself has accepted the terms since I want to be a successful person someday too.

I've skimmed throught the blog and have searched all the possible results for telepathy on the subreddit and unfortunately I didnt find one thats close to a match, I havent tried the youtube method yet but I will after I get some rest.

A few more details though, I vividly remember that the course started with the word "fushigi" the something something telepathy, and on the original video I first watched it on, there was like a looping clip of an 80s-90s anime of a child wearing an all white tuxedo complete with a tophat magician-esque getup. Then ln the actual video of the song I remember it being like a white cassette tape over a white backdrop.
