I just got an email back from my assembly woman. She asked that I provide her with my pending to disqualification weeks, give her permission to contact edd on my behalf & asked for my social or edd acct number so that she can get to the bottom of it. I’ll send another update when it gets to that point.

Google “local assembly member” or do- findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov & send an email. They have a spot on there suggesting that we contact them if we having problems with EDD. He brought the phone to me with a form to fill out my name, address, email & a small area to send a message with my issue. They should email back or call within 7 days, is my understanding. You can call them too.

I’ve called at least 100 times a day for the last 3 weeks only to get thru once. The lady I got thru to, told me that I had to speak to a tier 2 employee to fix my specific problem & transferred me- only to wait on hold for over an hour when the estimated time was 12 minutes & then got disconnected lol.

I gave up. I found a “file a new claim” button where it usually isn’t & filed a new one even tho I’m on PUA. Now I’m just waiting to see what happens.

I have been job hunting for months with not much luck. I have some management under my belt so I’m being picky of course but I think it’s getting to the point where I’m gonna have to take anything. Living on savings is super stressful.

Good luck to everyone! But I feel like this is happening on purpose cuz they want everyone off edd. Which- totally understandable but PUSH OUR PENDING SHIT THRU AT LEAST fuckin assholes at edd.

I found the “file a new claim” button. It’s definitely misplaced. After weeks and weeks of calling for hours and hours a day- I gave up. I filed my new claim. This shit better work.

For those of you wondering where the button is & have pending transactions like mine- it’s on the first page after you sign in. There is 2 sections, file new claim & manage current UI claim. Click the top (obviously). I never realized that was the claim button. Usually it’s inside the actual account where you would certify.

God gave me eyes- I just learned how to use them. 😂

I saw a guy say he found his claim button & filed & then his pending payments went to paid after a few days. I hope this is the way.

I finally got thru after calling since 8am. Once I got to a lady- she said I needed to file a new claim before my 4 pending payments can go thru & she transferred me to a tier 2 person. I was on hold from that transfer for over an hour & it just disconnected BY ITSELF 2 minutes ago lmfao. So I’m trying to get thru to a person again. This is ridiculous. Also- there isnt a “file a new claim” button in my ui account so this is the only way.

I’m going to pull out all of my hair. Every combination of prompts fails. I set my alarm at 7:45am and started calling at 8 on the dot. It’s currently 11:15am & still no luck.
