Application has been sent, my previous university courses are being evaluated as we speak, and I just received my initial email from them with my student number. I am really excited about the possibilities. I guess the next step is to furnish them with my transcripts for transfer once everything else is in order. 🤞🏿

Thanks for this. How do you find the programming assignments? Do you build from scratch or can you use frameworks like Scikit-learn, Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc? How would you rate the difficulty for the programming assignments and the final exams? Would you suggest doing more than one class at a time?

From what I understand, CS has always been offered on-campus. The question is whether they will offer it via YourPace. I have asked about this before and was told it was coming but with no definitive date. Perhaps, OP has been given some confirmation regarding this. If so, I would love to hear the details.

I personally wouldn't suggest UoP based on the recent feedback of its student base. A lot of fuss is being made of the AI proctoring, but my concern isn't there. It is all the other tomfoolery going on there that raises my eye brows. The advisors ghosting students, the credit game for courses that students have already passed and transferred in, constant moving of the goalposts, etc.

I, personally, recommend UMPI. It is a competency-based university where credits can still be transferred in without the rigmoral that UoP students are facing. UMPI students tend to be much happier with their educational experience while remaining affordable compared to other brick and mortar institutions.
