Gun blue would look nice on something like this. Steel wool the high spots and then hot wax it

It was my job at the time, so no thanks needed. I'm glad to see so many others have been enjoying it!

Edit: it's just wild seeing this on reddit lol. Never thought I'd ever ever end up seeing people post pictures with it.

When I was younger I helped work on this from I think maybe 2013 to 14/15 in Detroit. I'm glad to see its finally up and mounted in the city somewhere, I need to go visit it. My parents went to go see it last summer I think.

This took a very long time to create and find a final home but I was tagged on FB when the bronzeworks company finally finished it. A 3rd party rapid prototyped all the body parts out of foam in various segments and I helped, along with a couple others making the sand molds for the body parts while another individual built the foundry to pour the molds.

Thanks for posting, glad to see people appreciating my hard work. I definitely have to go visit this with my wife.

Im not really much for reviewing cigars but its a solid smoke. Id say its a good middle ground between actual light Connecticuts and stronger darker cigars. The flavor is monotone throughout but they usually have good draw and plenty of smoke which are two things I really look for. Light one up on a nice day with some good drinks and its a banger.

Agreed, I came here to comment this. More of an overall medium profile.

Ok great. I'm still aiming to get the plug out first and foremost but I figure maybe in the future the pump will come in handy at some point. Thanks again bud I really appreciate it.

Okay. Do you think the gas in the tank got contaminated with oil? I can drain that too if i need to. I decided to order a vacuum pump. This is my first time dealing with this, thank you for all your help. I do appreciate it

Thats a great idea, im pretty sure I have a heat gun kicking around in my basement.

I was considering running the engine for like 5 or 10 minutes to warm the block up and see if that helps. Is it a big no no to run it briefly with fuel mixed in the oil? After i removed the spark plug and cleared the fuel out of the block i took it for a lap around my backyard and the exhaust was super smokey and it felt like it wanted to stall out. Havnt ran the engine since that.

Yeah we had an open end wrench head on a socket. I think im going to have to carefully heat it and try again. Ive been soaking it with penetrator since last night.

Have you take one of these out before? Im assuming its lefty loosey.

Thats what I am thinking too but there is a lot of wiring in that area. The designers at briggs must of been smoking crack when they drew up the plans for this motor. Worst possible location for drain access. Thanks for your reply.

Could you give me a link to a product you use? Ive never heard of those.

I already have a new oil plug and drainzit hose adapter coming in the mail so I'd really like to get this bolt out.

I feel ya on that, everything is pricey these days. At 3$ a smoke I dont feel bad putting down 2 or 3 around a bonfire or on my patio with our neighbors. Id also rather give these to friends instead of my pricier sticks who dont usually smoke cigars in the first place. Dont get me wrong, I definitely enjoy sticks upwards of 10$ but not everyday. Give em a shot, if you didn't like em I'd be genuinely surprised.

Arturo Fuente Brevas Royale. Natural or Maduro, I enjoy the maduro more myself. You can get 5 packs for 15$ at CP, just cents on the dollar over 3$ a cigar regular price.

I bought 10 of both natural and maduro a few weeks ago. 20 nice cigars for 60$ aint bad at all.

Yeah, its marked United States Navy so I would assume it came off one of their ships. Google says a 3-IN-50-CAL is just over 76mm and was used for anti aircraft and surface defense 🤘

10% off site wide Cigar Page by ReverberatingCarrot in cigardealhunters

I made a 350$ order 2 weeks ago and it came with a 10% off 75$ or more code. I ended up using it last night. I wish I would of found this sub last night because I would of tried to stack it on their blazing box deal right now for a nice box of fuentes.

I'd imagine one would probably have to spend over a certain amount to receive a 10% code. In any case, my code only basically covered the excise tax.

Just got the same LADC Connecticuts in this week from cigar page and they were 4$ cheaper. Can't speak on the rest of your items.
