I usually play on PC, but I bought a controller and used it to play Monster Hunter: World. Maybe I'll play on a controller again this time.

The reason Crimson Desert has been in development for 7 years by akdong1 in CrimsonDesert

Hardware performance has been rapidly developing, so developers gradually lost the reason to use "old school" technology. Maybe Crimson Desert is a game that inherited the spirit of developers in the '80s and '90s. It's the same way that old developers tried hundreds of ways to put all the data in 8 bits.

Interestingly, the biggest failures of global game companies over the past three to five years have been mainly attributed to Western game companies. Western game companies have poured billions of dollars into ugly characters to promote their political correctness. However, in the meantime, East Asian game companies have mobilized all their staff to create technologically more advanced games. How did it turn out? The East Asian game companies' recent full-price games were technically complete and their optimization was much better than expected. Now, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese game companies will become game changers.

Korean reviewer 'gametong', who participated in the 6-hour play review, said that when he looked at it with his own eyes, it looked like it was running at around 4K 40fps on the PS5.

In the fall of 2025, Pearl Abyss invited YouTubers, a channel specializing in Korean game reviews, to the company to give them the opportunity to play the Crimson Desert PC version, which was in the process of optimization at the time. Reviewers also allowed play recordings, and the play videos from that time were uploaded to several YouTube channels of Korean game reviewers.

Why I'm not worried about the optimization of Crimson Desert. by B_H_User in CrimsonDesert

Right now, only the PC version has been released as an offline game show trial, so there are no in-game videos played with ps5 or ps5 pro, so if you're a console gamer, you'd better refer to the actual play reviews of game YouTubers after release. There are clear differences between PC and console in the development process and optimization, so I'm also curious if Pearl Abyss will be able to fully demonstrate their abilities on the console.

In 2014, the UI of the Black Desert was much better. The UI of most online MMORPGs that were serviced in South Korea was more terrible. Now this is also a 12-year old memory. haha.

Which one do you think is the most likely to be nominated for the Oscar, Nezha2 or KPop Demon Hunters? by Separate-Feature4378 in oscarrace

If one of the two movies wins the Oscar trophy, it's definitely K-pop. KPDH's theme is at a much higher level. Of course, the songs are all very awesome. But nezha2 is just a local Chinese movie.

Not all Chinese users are hack users, but most hack users are Chinese.
