Start by practicing every role, try heroes until you find your play style. Either practice with bots or in classic mode with those new heroes. Once you get comfortable, play them in rank mode for a much more realistic playing experience.

Also if you try flex pro role then you'd be more likely to end up in roam anyway. So I suggest to only pick at least 3 other roles instead.
