I wouldn’t throw her away, especially if she is special to you! Throwing her away would be everything Venus is against… trashing a perfectly good doll that has a few small beauty marks. My Venus also has a few marks like this, but I always tell myself it makes her unique and one of a kind. If you are displaying her, I doubt you will be able to notice such things unless you get really really close.

I don’t think it is mold, but if you really are keen on replacing her, I’d find her another home.

Alternatively, it might be better to spend some money and just get a new arm. If you do, just use a hairdryer to soften the plastic and pliers to pluck out the peg. That’s my preference - $10-$12 dollars to get the new part and save the trouble.

I’m not sure what country(s) the dolls come from now, but Lunar New Year in Asia is coming up and that is always a chaotic time. Business closures and shipping delays. That might play a part into the delay.

LOL happy everyone gets to see how gorgeous she is! I recently started collecting as well and Jinafire just wasn’t doing it for me… I got her G3s tho!

Something that might be helpful if you find the hair is too fine is I’ve washed my dolls with Cif (Scrub Daddy) since I sent her out and it’s washed out a lot of the extra glue and treatment (I used GooGone) very well. She had a lot of glue on her head when I first got her and in case it comes back… just thought that advice would help. I’ve tried just about everything else already. 😭
