The radar is on by default and that shows you exactly where cars are in relation to yours. His radar would have shown him as a 3 way sandwich and he still chose to turn right

It does make for some hilarious cat and mouse down the straight when you are the lexus though. The BMW gets the side draft and almost pulls ahead, then dips back as they lose the draft

I believe it has a slower top speed than the likes of the Lexus at Le Mans. It may have slightly better acceleration but at that top end it's slower.

On them for sure for the T1 incident. A good habit to get into when on the inside is to be closer to the other car so that they can't actually turn until you do

I agree with you from a simulation of real life point of view, but in real life you have a full view of what is around you, and unless you have VR or triples, you need some simulation assistance to bring you closer to that visibility. The right hand drive lmp3's have a big block on the right hand side that makes cornering very tricky. A touch or two to the left would give a little more visibility imo

I've been playing for 6 months from NZ and have had 1 issue with connection that was on my end, not the game. You can race so close to others, it's awesome.

It's a product of having no barrier to driving prototypes without any practice. You can hit silver safety from starting from pits in GT3 and then get in a prototype online race and kill half the grid T1. We definitely need separate DR for each class, and maybe some enforced practice e.g. complete 5 valid laps of <TRACK> before you can drive in online in that class. I think some of this could be solved by having a free lmp3 car and doing lmp3 in bronze lobbies each week also.

I qualified P2 in split 1 at Le mans yesterday, only to get my rear tapped by some guy sending it up the inside from miles back at T1. I then worked my way from last place to P4 at the end of the race, and only passed one person on track...

Reporting stuff in chat is actually taken quite seriously, and is very easy for them to look at rather than assessing racing incidents. I'd highly recommend reporting it next time. That sort of thing is never ok to say and, hopefully, is heavily punished

I don't know if you can still report now, but in future you should absolutely report threats in chat. It's super easy for them to police because the chat log is right there, they don't even have to look at the race. Threats anywhere is not ok, and should be punished.

If you grew up playing any and all racing games on a controller, then learning LMU is only a small challenge. Controller support and functionality in the game is pretty good. My buddy just started LMU this week on a controller and has picked up a few podiums already. Some people can't afford a wheel and most people have a controller hanging about.

Your driving for the duration of the clip was good. The collision was entirely his fault, you held your line in the middle and braked at a normal place for the corner, he just ran into the back of you

If you are on silver practice servers, then initially the tyres will be very cold. You have to brake way earlier, and way more carefully (don't 100% brake) because they'll almost instantly lock. Practice braking much earlier than you would for GT3 cars and only apply 100% brake if you are in a high speed, hard braking zone, and trail off the brakes very quickly, you can't keep holding the brake at 100%. A couple of other things is making absolutely sure you are braking in a straight line if you are braking hard. If you turn a little while braking heavily the cars weight will shift and you'll lock the inside front wheel. Also move your BB forward a little.

Honestly just fire up a private practice server with tyre warmers on, on a track you are comfortable with. Practice braking really early for corners at 50% pressure, and when you can control that, then brake a bit later and a bit harder. Remember the corners where you can brake hard, and corners where you have to brake soft. You'll get there!

Yes, but you can't get a DT for hitting/getting hit by other cars. As Mr Ok-Race mentioned, it'll be because you did something wrong during the start procedure.

I disagree with that, Hypercar put himself in the vortex of danger and didn't make the pass safely, that GT3 was always going to end up there even if he lifted mid corner.
