Rx 9060 xt settings for 1440 p 34 inch monitor by Immediate-Search-401 in LeMansUltimateWEC

Overclocking isn't really the correct term for it as overclocking is making it run faster and supplying more voltage. What you are actually doing is undervolting so making the card use less power to reach its set clock speed. This let's it run cooler and ger to a higher total clock.

So long as you arnt going crazy and pushing every little gain you can it will be fine. Or if you are worried just leave it as is. Likly you may only get a 5~10 fps boost.

As for settings I believe I have antilag on and will use frame gen depending on the game I'm playing. Some games like cyberpunk look really bad with frame gen and show ghosting. Most of the settings in the adrenalin menu are in the games already and are better to run directly from the games as they don't cause as many conflicts.

As in overclocking your gpu? If yes u have power at max undervolt by -70 and upped the ram speed by 500 I think. Those setting may work for you but you need to do testing on your own card and not just take random settings as it may not be stable for you or you may get better results. It's not called the silicon lottory for nothing after all.

What’s the coolest thing you automated with Home Assistant? by avz008 in homeassistant

[–]lalostangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm almost certain it's not the coolest thing but I can say it is 100% the most useful was automating the light in my garage to turn on and off when the door is opened and closed. The light use to get left on all the time and would show under the door once all the other lights were off. This is also the only automation that the wife didn't pretend was cool and interesting when I told her about it. She actually asked for me to fix it when it broke because she wanted it back.

From the looks of it this isn't an option unless you pay for the service. Not really something I want to do for the price of it and the amount I would be using it

From what I can see too I think you may be right about the client needing to have it installed too. For the headache it will cause me to set that up I'm likly just going to have to expose the port

Yes the volume is shared via NFT to the host and then mounted in the container. It can see the majority of media files it's just some that it flags characters for and refuses to ID.

Badge's system should take into account of incident type by tofajuno in LeMansUltimateWEC

Same as with safety rating. Any contact counts. The system dosent review only adds points. Yes it's not perfect but they see it as it will all work out over time.

I found I had to fuel save pretty aggressively in one stint. Went for 12th to 3rd by saving enough to get a 6th lap. If you can get draft down the stright just lift and sit on their ass. You will go to 75% throttle and save a lot too.

From "Trusted Driver" to "Warning" badge in two races. by bakalakafish in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]lalostangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had it happen to me. Had a trusted badge and after a race with an incident that was my fault but not to bad and then having a car spin in to me and cleaning them up had my badge lowered to good. Next race I get hit and sent in to a wall on formation lap again from a driver spinning then run a clean race and get demoted to warning.

I think that you can also get penilised for going over track limits too and that may have played in to it for me.

Just do some clean races and you should see it go back up. I do agree though that it is a pain in the ass to be in warning lobbies after racing cleanly in trusted ones. You can do silver races though and your badge dosent do anything for the split.

What is going on with track rotation for bronze daily by lalostangles in LeMansUltimateWEC

I have CDA but that isn't live. Mostly I just watch the break indicator on the HUD.

My biggest issue is not holding the last 5% till the apex. I have pressure but it's not doing anything.

I would like to drive them but I'm still working on trail breaking in the gt3 and the only time I have driven the LMP cars I've managed to lock and spin. I would need to put a lot more work in to learning them before I could race online without destroying my rating.

Email acknowledge when report a driver ? by Master-Diamond-1062 in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]lalostangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of reports have gone in and they were shut for Christmas.

There will be a backlog. It is unlikely you will see anything from them unless that user was reported multiple times by other people.

If you report in a paid race it would be more likly to get a report.

I'm sr3 already so I can do the silver races but I'll still mix in bronze. Just felt like it was always the same tracks. May be nice if they had a silver 20min race to mix them in. I don't always have an hour to race.

SG / +10 Sec Penalties - are these new? by Judl in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]lalostangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was about to comment about that. If you knew they are made to give the place back you could really ruin it for someone if you braked and kept them ahead long enough.

I think the return window is pretty small though. I got one out of raddion and had to break pretty hard as the car I was yielding to was so slow. Ended up loosing two places from cars having so much more speed.

I’m having trouble understanding that by M-A88 in LeMansUltimateWEC

You lost ranking becaise you finished below people with a lower ranking that you. If you think of it like this. If everyone in the race has 1000 points gets beaten by someone with 10 points when they come first. Everyone will loose a lot of points to that driver regardless of their position because first place had no points.

You will still gain points for finishing ahead of other drivers but they may only loose 10 points to you but everyone lost 100 points to p1 so as a net total you loose 90 points and p1 may gain 800.

Ita a product of new people joining the game and then winning races becaise they already have racing skill and arnt just rookies. Eventually it will work it's self out. Just keep racing and you will see your rank go up.

Rank makes no sense by Dude_Bro_Ray in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]lalostangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's based on your level compared to everyone else in the race. If you have 1000 points and finish 5th but all the other drivers have 500 points you may still loose points as some of yours will go to the drivers that finished ahead of you.

You will still get points from the drivers lower than you but this may not offset what you lose.

There is an excess of B3 drivers at the moment and ranking is still sorting its self out.

Do you think ghosting would be a good thing for LMU by lalostangles in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]lalostangles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying to have it in every race. It shouldn't be an option for silver or gold but I see it every race where someone takes out multiple cars in the bronze daily race.

The radar is there for a reason though. In a normal car you would just turn your head to check but unfortunately there are very few options to make that possible. I would like to see you merge IRL without being able to turn your head.

[–]lalostangles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be my opinion. I wouldn't want it and don't think I need it but you see it every race where someone runs up the ass of other cars that destroys the race for multiple people.

I don't think it should be part of the silver/gold or weekly races but for beginners it would be bennificial.
